The National Anthem is nothing! It’s all fake! Just like the US Government! “Built on Lies and Genocide”James Magaska Swan·Friday, September 2, 2016318 ReadsBeen thinking about this the last couple days. What’s the big deal? I think it’s just more government control and brain washing. Especially after reading all the comments on social media in regards to those who exorcising their right “NOT” to stand for the National Anthem! And how the masses are easily controlled by government like a bunch of mindless sheep, un aware of the Proverbial cliff that is ahead of them. Some more words “I don’t like” 1) Brain Washing: Indoctrination that forces people to abandon their beliefs in favor of another set of beliefs. Usually associated with military and political interrogation and religious conversion, brainwashing attempts, through prolonged stress, to break down an individual's physical and mental defenses. Brainwashing techniques range from vocal persuasion and threats to punishment, physical deprivation, mind-altering drugs, and severe physical torture.2) Conformity: Conformity is a type of social influence involving a change in belief or behavior in order to fit in with a group. This change is in response too real (involving the physical presence of others) or imagined (involving the pressure of social norms / expectations) group pressure. Conformity can also be simply defined as “yielding to group pressures” Group pressure may take different forms, for example bullying, persuasion, teasing, criticism, etc. Conformity is also known as majority influence (or group pressure). The term conformity is often used to indicate an agreement to the majority position, brought about either by a desire to ‘fit in’ or be liked (normative) or because of a desire to be correct (informational), or simply to conform to a social role (identification).3) Patriotism: is an emotional attachment to a nation which an individual recognizes as their homeland. This attachment, also known as national feeling or national pride, can be viewed in terms of different features relating to one's own nation, including ethnic, cultural, political or historical aspects. It encompasses a set of concepts closely related to those of nationalism. An excess of patriotism in the defense of a nation is called chauvinism; another related term is jingoism.4) Stockholm syndrome: Is a psychological phenomenon in which hostage express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness. The FBI's Hostage Barricade Database System shows that roughly eight percent of victims show evidence of Stockholm syndrome. Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes "strong emotional” ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other." One commonly used hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual's response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they cease to be perceived as a threat. Now back to the National Anthem. A national anthem is a patriotic musical composition that evokes and eulogizes the history, traditions and struggles of its people, recognized either by a nation's government as the official national song, or by convention through use by the people. "The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America. The lyrics come from "Defiance of Fort McHenry", a poem written on September 14, 1814 by the 35-year-old lawyer an amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Fort McHenry in the War of 1812.The music added to it: "The Anacreontic Song", (original name) by English composer John Stafford Smith. This was the official song of the Anacreontic Society, an 18th-century gentlemen's club of amateur musicians in London. Anacreontic Society: The Anacreontic Society was a popular gentlemen's club of amateur musicians in London founded in the mid-18th century. These barristers, doctors, and other professional men named their club after the Greek court poet Anacreon, who lived in the 6th century B.C. and whose poems, "Anacreontic", were used to entertain patrons in Teos and Athens. Dubbed "the convivial bard of Greece", Anacreon's songs often celebrated women, wine, and entertaining. The lyrics of The Anacreontic Song, the first four words of which are "To Anacreon in Heaven" were written by Ralph Tomlinson, who had been president of the society. John Stafford Smith wrote the tune. The lyrics were first published by London's The Vocal Magazine in 1778.It soon became a popular drinking song on both sides of the Atlantic. But the melody, if not the original lyrics, would acquire even greater fame after Francis Scott Key, an attorney, wrote "Defiance of Fort McHenry" while detained on a British ship during the night of September 13, 1814, as the British forces bombarded the American Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. This song, consisting of Key's text "Defiance of Fort McHenry" and Smith's tune The Anacreontic Song, is today known as The Star-Spangled Banner, the national anthem of the United States of America. More than a century later, in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed an executive order designating “The Star-Spangled Banner” as the national anthem, and in 1931, the US Congress confirmed the decision. Two missing versus of the National Anthem: 1) And where is that band who so vauntingly swore, That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion A home and a Country should leave us no more? Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave, And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.2) O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand Between their lov’d home and the war’s desolation! Blest with vict’ry and peace may the heav’n rescued land Praise the power that hath made and preserv’d us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto – “In God is our trust,” And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the braveIt seems fitting that the star spangle banner was written by a lawyer and music from a Gentlemen’s club and popular drinking song is now our National Anthem! With the hypocrisy of adding Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto – “In God is our trust,” Then proceeded to wipe out all the Tribal Nations of Indigenous peoples across this country killing millions of Natives over the next 200 plus years! Stealing their lands and resources while confining them on reservation left to exist in poverty and despair. This is the American Genocide! Hitler couldn’t even top this! And yet thousands of American Soldiers including Native Americans fought Germany over this! Oh the hypocrisy! Home of the free and the brave my ass!In closing to all you hater’s out there! I am a Veteran! I stepped up to protect this Country! But I didn’t step up to protect the corrupt incompetent Government that runs it! And yes people will say many have fought and died for that flag! Really? So what you are saying is you fought for the Government! The same Government that threw our veterans under the bus when they didn’t need their sacrifice no more! The same Government full of politician’s, thieves’ liars and scammers! The same government who came up with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as the two options to lead it! What a joke! No! I stepped up to serve my country NOT your Government! Your founding fathers are not mine! Your Government has never represented the indigenous people on this continent! The BIA was formally the US War Department! Oh! Let’s look at one last word here: Eugenics!Eugenics: Is a new term for an old phenomenon which asserts that Indian people should be exterminated because they are an inferior race of people. Jefferson's suggestion to pursue the Indians to extermination fits well into the eugenistic vision. In David Stannard's study American Holocaust, he writes: "had these same words been enunciated by a German leader in 1939, and directed at European Jews, they would be engraved in modern memory. Since they were uttered by one of America's founding fathers, however...they conveniently have become lost to most historians in their insistent celebration of Jefferson's wisdom and humanity." Roosevelt feared that American upper classes were being replaced by the "unrestricted breeding" of inferior racial stocks, the "utterly shiftless", and the "worthless" (Ibid)A) Theodore Roosevelt: This Indian fighter firmly grasped the notion of Manifest Destiny saying that America's extermination of the Indians and thefts of their lands "was ultimately beneficial as it was inevitable". Roosevelt once said, "I don't go so far as to think that the only good Indians are dead Indians, but I believe nine out of ten are, and I shouldn't like to inquire too closely into the case of the tenth". (Stannard, Op.Cit.)B) Abraham Lincoln: Ordered the execution, by hanging, of 38 Dakota Sioux prisoners in Mankato, Minnesota. Most of those executed were holy men or political leaders of their camps. None of them were responsible for committing the crimes they were accused of. Coined as the Largest Mass Execution in U.S. History. C) Thomas Jefferson: In 1807, Thomas Jefferson instructed his War Department that, should any Indians resist against America stealing Indian lands, the Indian resistance must be met with "the hatchet". Jefferson continued, "And... if ever we are constrained to lift the hatchet against any tribe, " he wrote, "we will never lay it down till that tribe is exterminated, or is driven beyond the Mississippi." Jefferson, the slave owner, continued, "in war, they will kill some of us; we shall destroy all of them". (Ibid) Jefferson said that American was obliged to push the backward Indians "with the beasts of the forests into the Stony Mountains". One year later Jefferson continued anti-Indian statements by adding that America must "pursue [the Indians] to extermination, or drive them to new seats beyond our reach". (Ibid)D) George Washington: In 1779, George Washington instructed Major General John Sullivan to attack Iroquois people. Washington stated, "lay waste all the settlements around...that the country may not be merely overrun, but destroyed". In the course of the carnage and annihilation of Indian people, Washington also instructed his general not "listen to any overture of peace before the total ruin of their settlements is effected". In 1783, Washington's anti-Indian sentiments were apparent in his comparisons of Indians with wolves: "Both being beast of prey, tho' they differ in shape", he said. George Washington's policies of extermination were realized in his troops behaviors following a defeat. Troops would skin the bodies of Iroquois "from the hips downward to make boot tops or leggings". Indians who survived the attacks later re-named the nation's first president as "Town Destroyer". Approximately 28 of 30 Seneca towns had been destroyed within a five-year period. (Ibid)Like I said “NOT MY FOUNDING FATHERS” But they are they are your founding Fathers and represent the foundation of the United States Government. These are the four face carved at Mt Rushmore in South Dakota, on Treaty land!
